Meet the Los Angeles Team Behind Mason Remodeling Co Los Angeles
The crew you’ll see on a Los Angeles job site isn’t a rotating cast of subcontractors. It’s the same handful of people, week after week, who know the difference between a load-bearing wall in a 1920s Spanish Revival and one in a 1960s Mid-City ranch. We hire for two things: skill and the kind of temperament that respects a homeowner’s kitchen table. Every person below has passed the Threshold Standard, which means a background check, identity verification, and a real name you’ll know before they ring the bell.
Styles & brands we work with

Our People

Marcus T., Lead Technician
Marcus has been setting tile and framing walls in Los Angeles for 19 years, the last 9 of them with Mason Remodeling Co Los Angeles. He’s the person who walks a project before anyone swings a hammer, marking out where plumbing will actually land against a wall that hasn’t been opened up yet. Marcus holds certifications in Schluter waterproofing systems and is the first call when a pan liner decision comes up mid-flight. He keeps a notebook in his back pocket with sketches of every job he’s led since 2016. Ask him about the Echo Park bungalow with the hidden coal chute, but only if you have a few minutes.
Dana R., Senior Installer
Dana came up through finish carpentry and cabinetry, which means she’s the reason your KraftMaid or Wellborn boxes sit square and your drawers close without an argument. She’s been with us for 12 years and runs most bathroom remodels from rough-in to the final piece of quarter-round. Dana is Cambria and Silestone certified for solid-surface fabrication and install, so she handles sink cutouts and seam placement herself. She’s also the only person on the crew who can calm a nervous first-time remodeler with a single walkthrough of where the tile will actually stop. Outside of work, she restores mid-century furniture and has strong opinions about veneer, which occasionally surfaces on the job in a good way.
Elena V., Service Coordinator
Elena is frequently the first voice you’ll hear when you call (213) 632-5711, and she’s the person who keeps a full Los Angeles schedule from quietly colliding with itself. She’s been coordinating construction crews since 2008 and joined our Los Angeles location six years ago. Elena knows the city’s permit offices well enough to tell you whether your West Adams project needs a phone call or a site visit, and she handles material orders so the right Schluter strip, Kerdi board, or tile profile shows up when the job actually needs it. Her desk has a laminated map of LA with service-area boundaries drawn over it, and she refuses to let a schedule get overbooked at the expense of a job already underway.
Andre W., Apprentice
Andre is three years into his trade training and works alongside Marcus and Dana on active remodels across Los Angeles. He’s already earned his OSHA 10 and leads jobsite cleanup, material staging, and demolition prep before he spends the afternoon learning layout and waterproofing from the senior crew. Andre grew up in a contractor family in the San Fernando Valley, so tool etiquette was baked in early, and he’s not afraid to ask why a wall was framed the way it was. You’ll see him carrying more than his share, and if you’re home during the rough-in phase, he’s usually the one who asks if you want water before he takes his own break.
One Standard, Every Job
The people above, plus Isaac Pruett as owner and the rest of the Los Angeles crew, run every project through the same Threshold Standard that Mason Remodeling Co has held since 2004. Each person is background-checked and identity-verified before they ever set foot on a property. You get a name and photo before the visit, and that same person carries a photo ID badge and wears a clean marked uniform when they show up at the door. No one starts work until a written price has been handed to the homeowner, and every completed project carries a written guarantee that spells out exactly what’s covered, what’s excluded, and how long it lasts: 365 days from the completion date. If a repair or installation fails within that year, we come back to fix it at no charge. That’s not a promotion. It’s what every Mason Remodeling Co location is expected to do, and this Los Angeles crew holds to it. When you call (213) 632-5711 to schedule a free estimate, you’ll talk to a live person, not a call tree, and you’ll be asking for the same people named on this page.
