Construction Before & After in Los Angeles, CA
We could tell you our crews show up on time and build things that last. But talk is cheap, and in Los Angeles construction, cheap talk is everywhere. The projects below show what actually happens when a written price, a verified crew, and a 365-day promise meet a real Los Angeles house. These are the kinds of transformations we do every month across neighborhoods like Silver Lake, Mar Vista, and Studio City.

Recent Transformations
Whole-Home Gut Remodel in Echo Park
Before
AfterThe problem: a 1920s bungalow with knob-and-tube wiring, a sagging rear addition, and a floor plan that made the kitchen feel like a hallway. We took it down to the studs, reframed the back half of the house, and rebuilt it as an open kitchen, dining, and living space. The result is a home that finally matches how the family actually lives, with new electrical throughout and no more extension cords snaking across doorways.
Bathroom Remodel with Walk-In Shower in Westchester
Before
AfterThe problem: a cramped tub-shower combo behind a wall that made the whole bathroom feel like a closet. We removed the tub, bumped the shower out by 18 inches, and used a Schluter strip – the metal trim that seals the edge where tile meets flooring – to keep the transition clean. The homeowner got a walk-in shower with a bench, and the room reads twice as large without moving a single exterior wall.
Kitchen Expansion in Atwater Village
Before
AfterThe problem: a galley kitchen with 9 feet of counter space and a load-bearing wall separating it from the dining room. We engineered a beam to open the wall, then ran cabinetry from KraftMaid along the full 18-foot run. The sink moved to face the backyard instead of a blank wall. Now the kitchen, dining, and living spaces flow together the way they should in a 1950s ranch.
Primary Suite Addition in Highland Park

The problem: a two-bedroom house with one bathroom for four people, and a backyard that was all concrete and weeds. We poured a new foundation for a 400-square-foot primary suite at the rear of the lot, tied the roof into the existing slope, and connected it to the house with a short hallway. The result added a bedroom, a walk-in closet, and a bathroom with a Toto toilet and a Kohler shower system – and the homeowners didn’t give up much usable yard.
Laundry Room to Mudroom Conversion in Sherman Oaks

The problem: a washer and dryer wedged into a garage corner, with no place to fold clothes or drop muddy shoes. We converted a 7-by-9-foot pantry off the kitchen into a dedicated mudroom with a stacked laundry unit, a folding counter, and built-in cubbies. The garage stayed a garage. The house gained a room that earns its square footage every single day.
Bathroom to Full Gut Remodel in Culver City

The problem: a 1970s bathroom with a leaking shower pan that had been quietly rotting the subfloor for years. We pulled everything out, replaced the rotted framing, and rebuilt the room with a curbless shower, a linear drain, and Silestone on the vanity. The new bathroom is waterproofed the way it should have been the first time, and the homeowner can finally stop worrying about what’s underneath the tile.
