Delta Construction in Los Angeles, CA | Mason Remodeling Co Los Angeles

We provide independent Delta construction, installation, and repair across Los Angeles as a Los Angeles General Contractor. That means full kitchen and bath remodels built around Delta fixtures, plus the structural work older LA homes often need first. One thing sets our Delta work apart here: we understand how seismic retrofits, hillside foundations, and hard LA water change what a Delta installation actually requires. Why Los Angeles Residents Choose Us for Delta Service

A freestanding soaking tub in a remodeled primary bathroom

Delta makes solid faucets, shower systems, and bath hardware. But in Los Angeles, a Delta fixture rarely lives in a brand-new, plumb, code-perfect wall. It lives in a 1947 stucco bungalow in Echo Park, or a 1972 soft-story apartment building in West LA, or a hillside house in Silver Lake where the foundation has shifted a quarter inch since the last big quake. That changes the job.

Our crews have worked on hundreds of Delta kitchen and bath projects across pre-1980 LA homes. Isaac Pruett grew up in the San Fernando Valley, trained in construction technology at Los Angeles Trade-Technical College downtown, and spent nearly two decades on residential and light commercial jobs across Los Angeles County before running Mason Remodeling Co. He knows what a Delta Trinsic faucet needs when it’s going into a wall that hasn’t been opened since Eisenhower was in office. We’re an independent Delta service provider, not manufacturer-authorized, and we say that plainly because the distinction matters for warranties and parts.

Common Delta Construction Problems We Solve in Los Angeles

  • Soft-story settling cracks Delta acrylic shower bases. Thousands of pre-1980 LA apartment buildings sit on tuck-under parking, and when the ground shifts or the building settles unevenly, tub decks tilt just enough to crack a Delta shower base at the drain flange. We see this in neighborhoods from Koreatown to Palms. Fixing it means leveling the deck, replacing the base, and often adding structural support before the new Delta trim goes on.
  • Hard LA water calcifies In2ition diverter buttons. Los Angeles tap water runs hard, especially in the San Fernando Valley and Mid-City. Mineral buildup inside a Delta In2ition showerhead will gum up the diverter button within a couple of years, causing flow loss or a mode that won’t engage. We stock genuine Delta cartridges and can usually restore the showerhead without replacing the whole rough-in.
  • Unpermitted hillside additions hide old Delta rough-in valves. Echo Park, Silver Lake, Mount Washington, and other hillside neighborhoods are full of additions that were never permitted. When we open those walls for a remodel, we regularly find Delta rough-in valves from the 1980s with no pressure-balance cartridge. That’s a scalding risk during LA’s water pressure swings. We replace them before any new fixture goes in.
  • West-facing sun fades and embrittles Delta plastic escutcheons. Bathrooms on the west side of Los Angeles houses take direct afternoon sun. Delta’s plastic escutcheons on exterior-facing wall-mount faucets fade, yellow, and turn brittle faster here than in coastal cities. We’ll quote Delta OEM replacements first, and offer a cost-saving aftermarket option only if the finish matches and the homeowner waives the long-term finish warranty in writing.
  • Galvanized supply lines can’t support modern Delta flow rates. A Delta Touch2O or pull-down kitchen faucet needs clean supply lines. In 1950s LA bungalows with original galvanized steel, the interior corrosion chokes flow and sends rust through the cartridge. We evaluate the supply line before we touch the fixture. Sometimes the answer is a new PEX run, and we’ll say so before any work starts.

Delta Service in Los Angeles: What Local Conditions Mean for Your Equipment

Los Angeles’ mandatory soft-story retrofit ordinance, Ordinance 183893 as amended by 184081, requires structural upgrades on thousands of pre-1980 wood-frame apartment buildings. This is not a suggestion. It is a city-wide mandate that has already reshaped how contractors work in neighborhoods like Westlake, East Hollywood, and Venice. When our crews install Delta fixtures in these buildings, we often have to relocate supply lines around new steel moment frames and plywood shear walls. That is not a complication we invented; it is the reality of working inside a retrofit structure. Orange County does not mandate soft-story retrofits at the same scale, which means a generic Delta installer from outside Los Angeles may not anticipate the wall depth, chase routing, or plumbing offsets these retrofits demand. We do, because we have done them. Our crew finished a full kitchen remodel in an Echo Park hillside bungalow off Lemoyne Street where a Delta Trinsic pull-down faucet had been fitted to a 1978 supply line with no shutoffs. We cut out the unpermitted addition, bolted the foundation, then reinstalled the Delta faucet on new PEX with a pressure-balance valve. No more hammering when the irrigation kicks on.

Delta Models & Products We Service in Los Angeles

We service Delta’s core residential lines: Lahara widespread bathroom faucets, Trinsic single-handle kitchen faucets, In2ition tub and shower combos, and Windemere traditional bath fixtures. For pressure-bearing and safety components, we use genuine Delta cartridges, seals, and trim kits. Aftermarket internals often fail under Los Angeles’ mineral-heavy water or cannot match Delta’s exact temperature stops, and we will not install a part that puts a homeowner’s scald protection at risk. For decorative trim, we quote Delta OEM first. We keep common Delta cartridges and seals in our Los Angeles inventory for faster turnarounds, and we source full trim kits from local suppliers when a finish needs matching. For full Delta sales & service, we cover the range from a single faucet swap to a whole-home fixture package.

Delta Service Pricing in Los Angeles

A walk-in shower with large-format tile and a built-in niche

Pricing depends on what the fixture is going into, not just the fixture itself. A Delta Lahara Bathroom Remodeling - Los Angeles faucet installed into a clean, modern wall is a simple job. The same faucet installed into a 1949 Echo Park wall with rotted framing and no shutoffs is a different project. That’s why we give every homeowner a written price before work starts, never after. Here are the current ranges for Delta-integrated work in Los Angeles:

Service Price Range
Full Kitchen Remodeling (with Delta Trinsic/faucet integration) $16,520 – $53,100
Full Bathroom Remodeling (with Delta Lahara/In2ition rough-in) $10,620 – $33,040
Cabinet Installation (for Delta-integrated kitchen) $4,720 – $15,340
Countertop Installation (quartz/granite for Delta sink) $2,360 – $7,670
Tub-to-Shower Conversion (Delta In2ition trim) $4,130 – $11,800

A free estimate includes a site visit, a look at the existing plumbing and structure, and a written line-item quote. No verbal ballpark that grows on the final bill. If you want to know exactly where your project falls, call (213) 632-5711.
